ArborZen began in the heart of Black Mountain, NC—a small town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains where craftsmanship and community go hand in hand. Our founder started with a simple truck, a passion for woodwork, and a commitment to treating every customer like family.
What began as a one-person operation has grown into a trusted flooring company serving homeowners, builders, and designers across Western North Carolina. But no matter how much we've grown, we've never lost sight of what made us successful: honest work, fair prices, and floors that stand the test of time.
Today, with showrooms in both Black Mountain and Conover, we continue to bring the same dedication to every project—whether it's a cozy mountain cabin or a modern family home.

2015
Founded in Black Mountain
ArborZen was born from a simple belief: that every home deserves beautiful, quality flooring installed by people who truly care.
2018
Expanded Product Lines
We added luxury vinyl plank and tile to our offerings, becoming a complete flooring solution for Western North Carolina.
2021
Custom Finishing Studio
Opened our in-house custom staining and finishing studio, allowing clients to create truly unique floor designs.
2024
Conover Location Opens
Expanded to serve the Catawba Valley region with a new showroom and installation center in Conover, NC.
